Well, it definitely feels like I've fallen off the "Xanga Planet".  Summer has been pretty crazy lately.  I've been helping out at my Dad's new restaurant.  My cousins and I got to lay about 800 square ft. of tile.  It was tough to say the least.  The latest about my sis is that she flew back home to Vegas and we haven't heard anytyhing from her.  So we'll definitely keep praying for her.  My Grandpa is doing the best he can be considering the circumstances.  It's still sad that he doesn't seem to have too much longer with us.  My Grandma's Alzheimer's is getting worse as the days go by.  That has probably been the toughest part about this summer.  The Alzheimer's causes her to believe that people are stealing things from her and that people are talking about her behind her back.  It causes her to become very angry and there is nothing that any of us can do to help the situation.

I'm definitely ready to see everyone again.  Getting really excited about school starting...Not so much about classes, but being in the environment.  I'll be seeing you guys in a few weeks.  Bye for now!  God bless!

I'm not sure how many of you check your Harding email, but some of you may have got the email about my Grandfather.  For those of you who didn't.....He's not doing to well and my family got the news that he isn't going to live much longer.  I want to ask those of you who see this to please pray for him and my family.  Thanks guys

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SARAH DOTY and HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO MY PARENTS!!!! woohoo!

Sunday, July 03, 2005

Well Well...It has definitely been pretty busy the past two weeks.  I had my first exams and did pretty good on them.  Now I don't have to work so hard the rest of the time I'm in class.

This week I went to class and then I got to go to Camp Texoma with the youth group at my church.  I was there with them on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.  It was a lot of fun and I got to speak on the last night we were there.  The youth minister and I also went out and bought $1,000 worth of fireworks and fired them off for the kids, IT ROCKED!!!!   It was a lot of fun being there with them, it brightened up my summer.  But the fun didn't stop there!

On Saturday Jax and I headed over to Parker, Tx to meet up with Megan, Matt, Hunter, Kim, Betsy, Trevor, Steven, Amber, Kim B., Stacy, Kiley, and Dolly.  It was bunches of fun.  We saw a lot of bands and ate a lot of junk food.  Jax and I left after Casting Crowns was done (they were second to last) and we didn't have too much trouble with traffic when we left.  But, we got to church today and talked to some friends who left right after the fireworks and they didn't get home until 3 in the morning... Crazy stuff...Nonetheless, it was fun!

I found out today that I'm probably gonna be joining the youth group on our Mexico mission trip.  I'm kind of skeptical though because a lot of the parents are pulling there kids from the trip because of all the drug problems/murders and stuff that are going on there.  So....we'll see about that one.  Anywho, not much else is going on here.  This next week is my last week of class, woohoo!!!!!!  Hope everyone has a fantabulous 4th of july.

Oh, and DV...what was this 'package' that was in transit??? I didn't get anything

A little bit of laughter to brighten your day

One day a little girl was sitting and watching her mother do the dishes at the kitchen sink. She suddenly noticed that her mother had several strands of white hair sticking out in contrast on her brunette head.

She looked at her mother and inquisitively asked, "Why are some of your hairs white, Mom?

Her mother replied, "Well, every time that you do something wrong and make me cry or unhappy, one of my hairs turns white."

The little girl thought about this revelation for a while and then said, "Momma, how come ALL of grandma's hairs are white?"
